the long awaited spring post

neon

Hi all. Have I really not posted since February? Well just lock me up for being the slackest blogger in the world. Sorry everyone.

Truthfully, I’ve barely done more to my nails than whack on a single colour in weeks. Otherwise I would’ve shared it with you, I promise. I have done leopard print a few times but I know you’d probably just roll your eyes at me so I decided to spare you.

But, spring is officially here, and so are my spring nails. A little neon 90′s for the spring, that’s what we all need isn’t it? They make me want to go dancing.

Happy spring everyone! xx

new week, new design

Mon4th

What better way to spend a Monday night than by tucking up in bed with a cuppa, some Netflix and nail polish. Perfect.

Lately life has been pretty hectic and after a long day at the office my box of nail polish was calling for me. I got comfortable, shut myself off from the world and entered my little bubble where only the smell of nail polish accompanies me.

This design took a really long time, but it was totally worth it.

The pastel colours make me long for spring.

a little bit 90s

90s

Back from the dead. It’s been forever, I know. New job, no time. While life is pretty damn good right now, my nails have been suffering and feeling incredibly neglected. But thank goodness for lazy Sunday afternoons with time to dedicate to a little bit of freehand nail art.

A little bit 90s, a classic monochrome palette and a whole lot fun.

I’ll be back sooner than last time, I promise x

Merry Seche Vite Christmas to us all!

Ladies of the world, rejoice! Seche Vite is now doing colours!

I’m not really one to plug products on my blog, (it’s usually all about me) but this is one thing that I had to shout from the rooftops for you all to hear. Just the thought of one nail enthusiast carrying on life without this information is devastating. I have not yet tried this supposedly miraculous product, but how could it be anything less than amazing when it is made by the people who make my one true love, the fast drying top coat?

69225692236922169218Do you know what this means? One coat of colour. One. Coat. I advise that we all go out and buy it immediately and rejoice in it’s fast-drying glory.

I’m loving the Dark Royal Blue for winter and my long-time favourite go to colour, Blackened Burgundy, but then there’s greys and taupes and, oh lord, Christmas has come early ladies. The excitement is palpable. I feel like a child of 5 again.

Santa – please feel free to include these in my stocking. And if you can’t figure out which colours to get me, then one of each will do nicely. Ta xx
